Irene O'Connor

Irene O'Connor will be our emcee November 2nd.  We are looking forward to her dynamic style and her narration of our outstanding fashions from Coldwater Creek and Mariella's Creation.

As anchor of Eyewitness News This Morning every weekday, Irene is well known to viewers in Connecticut.

The recipient of numerous journalism awards and voted one of Connecticut's favorite TV newscasters, Irene has covered major stories around the state and around the country.

Irene returned to her home state to join Channel 3 in October 2005. Irene, who was born in Hartford, was named co-anchor of Eyewitness News This Morning in February 2007 after a year as the anchor of the weekend editions of Eyewitness News This Morning.

Irene's career includes television reporting and anchoring responsibilities at stations in Hartford, Denver and Providence, R.I., as well as experience as an assignment editor, radio newscaster and news director.

Claudette Fried

  Claudette Claudette Fried worked with MACC's Director, Beth Stafford, in her 2007 Fashion For Good Style Session.  It was a great hit!

She is a nationally known make-up artist and image consultant who has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show several times.  She is a regular contributor to the show, Better Connecticut, on both Tuesdays and Thursdays on Channel 3.    

She has also worked as an image consultant to NBC Network in New York, to WFSB in Hartford, to two nationally known talk shows and on several independent films.

Presently, Claudette is the make-up artist for Gayle King who is Editor-at-Large of O Magazine, and has worked as a special correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show and Good Morning America. In September 2006, King began to co-host Oprah & Friends on XM Satellite Radio.

Claudette is entertaining, fun and practical in providing tangible, inexpensive, workable fashion and make-up tips and advice for all ages and body types.
